Description The Polotsk notebook (Belorussian: Polackski ssytak), also known as the Ostromechevskaya manuscript (Belarus: Astramechaski rukapіs) or Manuscript 127/56 of the Jagiellonian Library (Polish: Rękopis 127/56, Biblioteki Jagiellońskiej)[1] is a Belarusian-Polish manuscript monument of artistic culture of the 17th century century[2], a collection of everyday music by anonymous authors, which includes more than 200 canzones and dances of the Renaissance and early Baroque of Eastern European and Western origin.
